19 + id

okay i was told i need a drivers licene to get in to 19+ area down there. but all i have is my health card. i know here to get in to the bars it works fin and to buy booz form lcbo or beer stores. but is it differnet in toronto?

peachfuzz April 29th, 2005 01:42 AM

sometimes they'll accept a birth certificate, as long as you have other forms of ID..

i tried with a different form of state id once though, and they wouldn't accept it.

What's some prices for alcohol in the bar at Hulla. The most i've heard is $4.50 a beer. What else, What kinds of beer are there?

peachfuzz April 29th, 2005 02:34 AM

all i know is that they have corona, and its yummy.. :D

ravekid April 29th, 2005 02:39 AM

Is all beer there $4.50?

GlowRaver4184 April 29th, 2005 10:53 AM

its expensive to say the least (bout $4+ for beer and $6+ for shots)........does help keep the drunken retards to a minimum tho.........

basic April 29th, 2005 01:11 PM

4.50 for a domestic 5.50 for an import - so not bad, standard bar prices for toronto

health card is not valid id for bars - some places will let you get away with it though. bring your birth certificate with you, passport and don't go in banking on being able to get in for sure.

meisemily April 29th, 2005 06:11 PM

Email_Sean April 29th, 2005 07:36 PM

Molson Kick tastes like canadian but a bit more tinny

meisemily April 29th, 2005 07:42 PM

mmm tin

i think

Takistos April 29th, 2005 11:36 PM

Kick is awesome.

But apparently Labatt's 'Shok' has a higher alcohol volume.

more drunk!

deggs April 30th, 2005 03:50 AM

rev is like 9 bucks and it sells out at like 10:30. however, i tend to stay away. (despite this next statement, i'm really not a crazy boozer.) they don't let you keep the bottle so you can't stock up (not that i would), so you burn out after a few hours. just stick to beer or coolers or something. there's that new molson kick or something that's like caffeine and beer. it's a recipe for disaster

basic April 30th, 2005 11:33 AM

Shok has a higher % but the can is smaller so it works out to be around the same

Mike and Phil April 30th, 2005 11:40 AM
