Hardcore Raves in Canada?

Is there any at all after life after Hullabaloo?

Its a shame if there isnt any.

CareSieB June 26th, 2006 05:20 PM

nocturnal commissions, goodfellaz ETC

Naughty Dog June 26th, 2006 05:24 PM

Cool as long as the hardcore vibe is still booming over there.

Sorry if i sound thick but i'm in the UK.

AznAstronaut June 26th, 2006 05:59 PM

There's some kids in Monetreal who throw parties I believe... Some of the Toronto locals just played there. Hopefully a .ca native can provide more info. :)

Thanks, i'm Naughty Dog by the way.

Is Hardcore big in North America?

CareSieB June 26th, 2006 07:41 PM

its not as BIG as in the UK, but it has a pretty nice following

evrbrite June 26th, 2006 07:46 PM

I wouldn't say big but it definately has a loyal following. There are still good parties to attend and the dj's are a bit differnent in style than UK dj's. At least in Canada I find

DJ Tranzit June 27th, 2006 01:51 AM

huge difference in the style of parties.

if you ask any north american raver, they want to go to europe to try a party there..
and, if you ask me, i'd suggest that any european raver try a North American party to see what it's like..

thus far, the people who have, say it's a great time..

just my $0.02

No Typical Raver June 27th, 2006 04:35 AM

what's "hardcore"?

Milo June 27th, 2006 10:24 AM

north america has a really spread out scene, but it's going pretty strong, though everyone seems to complain it isn't in their area and that everyone else's scene is bangin' but theirs =P

Weaver June 27th, 2006 10:40 AM

well i mean ask a random european on the street what hardcore music is, and your giong to have a way higher chance of getting the right answer than asking a random North American.

ladycameraphone June 30th, 2006 10:03 AM

I think they should have a hardcore party in Windsor, Ontario. There's lots of ravers here that would love a hardcore rave. I know I would!

stop saying, and do!
It just takes a bit of common sense, and a little planning to throw your own event.

If you can find a reasonable space for a decent price, the rest falls into place quite easily for a "locals" party.

some locations do have a scene even if it's small events held every couple of months. I feel that Pittsburgh no longer has a scene, except for the fact that a couple of parties are being thrown every so often

Dude what are you talking about. There's a party almost every weekend, and club nights on every night of the week.

Pittsburgh is currently experiencing a boost to their scene. Shit I'm way up here and even I know that. :p
