Wow, you have to be the only other person I've ever met who has read that book. Cool.
A friend on one of my weblogs posted that calling "the baby" (her term - to me, it's a fetus) the Tyrant wasn't the most affectionate name. So I'd like to mention that it's also a reference to the boss character in the Resident Evil games, which I and Frolic both love. So it's actually a *good* association.
(Besides, it's better than the previous nickname the fetus had when it was still an embryo.)
