When I have kids, if raves are still around(or more likely, something else has taken their place), they won't be there unsupervised until 16. Maybe as low as 13 if in a group of friends with at least one person over 16 that I know well and trust(likely a parent or older sibling)... basically, would be someone I can trust with my kids lives. Raves are *generally* safe places, but some fucked up shit can happen at them, its not a place for young kids to be running about alone.

I want to be fairly liberal with what I allow my kids to do, but a line has to be drawn somewhere. They need to be free to be themselves, but parents have to set limits and only carefully pull those limits away as their kids mature.
