I think they should be more strick on the drug policy. I mean if it was me I would throw dealers and users out. Mind you that would leave like 20 or 30 of us but we could have an awsome party then. : ) Or have undercover cops in the place, I mean the dealers were not secretive about selling. I had a guy come up to me and try and sell me e, I said no thanks and he moved on to the guy beside me. It would be impossible to get the drugs totally out, but c'mon it wouldnt surprise me if 70% of the people there were high taking up space in places I could be dancing.

Yea I agree with the lights comin on near the end of the night.... its not the same.. kinda ruins it. I also found security to be pretty rude to me and my friends which is understandable to a point, but still.

They should post those first pics out front of every party to scare people out of doing drugs.

Yeesh....I'm so glad that guy who was with her had X's on his hands...

I once read a book that said, "If raves are the engine, ecstasy is the fuel that runs it." Or something to that extent. A rave wouldn't be a rave without the drugs. Where would the unity be? As much as I deny that we are all there for the music, how many people would still go without the drugs? Drugs are as big a part of the scene as the music is. Sadly enough.

I somehow think that 20 or 30 is an exageration. If you're saying no drugs, that includes alcohol and cigarettes. Leaving...pretty much no one.

I realize that. But why should someone be able to drink and I can't intoxicate myself with my drug of choice? Someone else chooses alcohol. I hate alcohol. I enjoy the feelings I get from something else. I understand that it isn't legal and alcohol is. But I would raher see a room full of people on E or sober than a bunch of drunks. I've been around too many aggressive drunks. I haven't seen someone seriously hurt someone while on E. I know, that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I just disagree with taking away every other drug. To each their own.

not that i bring anything i shouldn't be in, but i know a way that is basically foolproof not to get searched very hard at the door.

this time around i accidently brought in an open package of reactine (1 pill missing) and 3 clemantine oranges.. the guards hardly checked me..

i just be friendly, easy going, and tell them where everything is...

"yup.. here's my cigarette pack, and all other items on me are in this large area of my bag"

they just take a quick peek, and "yea.. go ahead"

I feel the same way BunnE.. People on E bring something entirely differnt to a party, then drunk people do. E makes people show that unity that I go to parties for, I really don't think that it would be there.. Or it would be and it just wouldn't be that same. At this Hulla there were two drunk girls dancing in front of us.. Rember BunnE.. and they were so fucking clumsy and looked soo fucking stupid! I found it rather annoying, they were making ass's of themselves. Where as People new to E are just soo much fun, they are just Floored by how great it is.. and you can see in thier eyes how they are enjoying themselves.
Quote:

I haven't seen someone seriously hurt someone while on E.

Its true.. I have never heard anything about this either, and I for one couldn't hurt someone.. Unless I was defending myslef then that would be different. As you said Drunk people can become very aggressive or angry and well they scare me, when I see drunk people at parties I'm usal scared to talk to them becuase I don't know what they are going to do.. OR say (which makes me uncomfortable) Vs. people that are on E who will welcome you and make you feel good, they are fun to talk to and IMO people that I like to surround myslef with. So all in all I would perfer a Room of people on E and sober people.. Then A group of fucked up drunks!
Quote:

As do I, It's not the choice of people throwing the parties.. People Enjoy themselves in other ways.. Someone may enjoy themselves taking pills, someone may enjoy themsevles getting fucked up at the bar, and somepeople may enjoy themselves being sober and dancing thier little sober asses off.. And well people may even enjoy themselves fucking in the bathroom stalls EWWWWWWWWWW!!!
The drugs are just as much a part of the secene as the music it.. I belive that people that are going to the parties to buy the drugs are the ones that should be not allowed to the party.. But there is no way to spot these types of people, so what can ya do?
All I know is that taking away drugs will do nothing, but hurt the secene because drugs have become part of it and to take it away is like taking wood away from the fire.

Thats just my Two cents

Question....

I guess I'm not too down with the current lingo. What the heck does getting "rolled" mean? Someone please tell me.

Maybe it's time to start checking IDs and enforcing an age restriction. It seems like people younger and younger are comming to these events. That's only going to cause a whole bunch of problems that are going to bring down what's left of the scene. imho
