well my first WEMF was last year.......the best frikkin time of my life.....the first day we get there at 6;30 am before the gates are even open........set up our shit under a tree about 30 people from the gates and met two very cool people who we ended up camping with. note: bring a wagon or a taboggen or some cart to pull your shit in with cuz carrying it to the camp sites SUX!!!!
get in get our shizzle set up.........roasting all day chilly chill at night, but mad fun to be had..... i met the most amazing people. and it was just fun to be out in nature...........at night, looking at the stars oh soo many of them!~~ its most definitely the best time. we got the 20.00 bracelets for the water fun area and that was well worth it. the big slide was soo much fun!!!!!

yeah WEMF was amazing i went with my gf last year and it was out first canadian rave let alone three day festival of fucked up people. Everyone is extremely fucked up all the time but by sunday people are beyond sketchiness like new species of people.Anyways im from the states so it was cool like we were our own village that survived on the intake of chemicals and we had our own currency (canadian money) but for advice i would plan your doses around your music cause i ended up incapacitated for the all of saturday night. them damn pies were the shit last year hope they are there again. They arte my favorite.Plus the trips ARE GOOD SHIT TOO! anyways bring lots of money and warm clothes for night you'll be naked during the day and if you went to wemf and your name is shawn and you were rescued by new yorkers and you love k please reply we are looking forward to seeing you next year

Last year was my first Wemf, and what can I say, best weekend of my life!
oh, if your coming in from Ottawa, DON'T take the shuttle bus! it was soooooooooo sketchy on the way there and even more sketchy on the way back with cops being involved and everything.
But aside from all of that, Wemf was the chillest weekend ever and I am for sure making it back this summer! Plus last year was cool cause Wemf fell on the night of my 1 year of partying into the rave scene in Ottawa, so it was kind of special to me, aside my sprained shoulder as well! :P

so ya! I'm soooooo excited for Wemf this summer!

YeA. yea, WEMF.o2 . Pretty nice.. but me.. i have like the worst luck.. :P Meh.. the whole new experiance rocked.. and i plan to go again but with diff ppl. went for 2 days.. did not know till i got there.. was going with a large group of junglist's... :P (nothing against.. im stylin' with all ppl) ( they didnt share the same feelings ) so my friend that got me in with this group.. buggered off.. so me and one other chilled.. in the hulla tent.. then 2am rolled around and i found out i had mild food poisoning.. nothing really.. just made me cold and sick.... so that kinda fucked the night.. hehehe.. but all and all.. It kicked quite alot of ass... Minus the large holes in the ground.

Im pretty sure that it WONT be at the same venue. Too many people were complaining last year that they used the same place and even more will do so this year. Although everything went of smoothly last year attendance is still dropping at these events so if they want to change this trend then they'll move to a new location.

Attendance wasn't down last year due to the use of the same venue. The reason attendance was down last year was that half the people who would go to WEMF were afraid of a repeat of the previous year's incident. Whereas a lot of us on the message boards knew about the reasons for using Bobcaygeon last year, and how there would not be a repeat incident due to the town's welcoming the festival.... a vast majority does NOT read message boards, and thus didn't know any of that info.

With the incredible success of word-of-mouth advertising, and the passing around of the success of last year's event, I'm sure attendance would significantly increase this year, even if it is at the same venue again.
