i would hate for the headliner to be mediocre and for me to have to pick the bang! show over hulla....

Here is the very simple criteria I look for when selecting our guest DJs:

a) I want someone who's name alone will sell tickets
b) I want to hear new music, the big anthems of tommorow. No point booking people to play music the hulla residents cained 6 months ago.
c) I like to focus on talent that's somewhat exclusive with Hulla and names you don't get to see elsewhere here.

That's it.

Back when our parties were larger, I was beginning to experiment with bringing in a big established name with a more up&comer type (ie: Robbie Long & Devastate with Force & Styles, or DJ Frantic with DJ Vibes) but now that we can only afford a single talent it has to be one of very strong draw ability. Most people who come to Hulla DON'T listen to hardcore 24/7, they own some H2bH's and know some names from those discs. I have to look at the big picture when putting it all together otherwise we never would have lasted as long as we have.
