yeah.. definitely.. ^^

ohio kids aren't very accepting of kandi either, we're really looked down upon there... but there aren't that many good parties there anymore anyway... unless of course you are really into dnb/house.

Careful not to be too general there. I'm from ohio and my friends and I are pretty 'accepting' to kandi.

don't get me wrong... i love my ohio kids..

but the "general consensous" for MOST ohioers is that its cool to make fun of and laugh at kandi kids...

*shrugs* i don't really care either way... because half of my friends in ohio are kandi, and the other half of my friends from ohio laugh at me.. lol..

i'm kind of the type of person that commands respect from people, and because of that those who don't like kandi are able to see past the beads.. heh

candy is awesome)
Unfortunately, I'm extremely attracted to everything that's bright, shiny and neon, so I end up wearing a shitload of bracelets daily.)

This thread makes me proud of Canada in a way.)

It's actually quite easy to immigrate to Canada, you marry someone Canadian...and you're done...)

Well, obviously you need to go thought other procedures, but it's good enough as a reason... I'm only saying this based on how people I know immigrated...

Well that depends... Would I still be able to marry my current fiance as well? And would she be able to migrate with me?

Actually, I love Toronto, but if I'm migrating anywhere it will be a to a warmer country. not a colder one.

Well, as someone who's gone through the process of marrying an American and having them move up here it's not THAT hard.

There was no interviews, no big deal really. Still took a while (1 year) to process, but that's just typical government stuff.

The biggest deal was that I had to prove I can support Robin, but their minimum income requirements are laughable.

The only person we ever saw was the lawyer we hired to do it. We sent in photos of us from over the years, I wrote a letter about how we met, sent in my income tax return. Robin had to go have some medical checkouts with a listed doctor. But we never once talked or met with a government official. I guess 2 young people getting hitched isn't much of a worry for them.

I should add that Canada has an "approved in principle" process where you can get approved in as little as 3 months if you're just a normal applicant. Unfortunately for us the year Robin applied the pope came to Canada and the immigration department was inundated with hundreds of thousands of visa requests so we got screwed and had to wait the whole time.

they always ask us silly questions about our kandie..but the fact that we are university students..kristin is an honor student in a sorority...and i do tons of volunteer work...really helps us....and we dont look like we are doing anything wrong..because we arent..if raving isnt a crime..dont make anyone feel like you are committing one
ive been searched once while driving and a crap load of times while flying...they ask about the kandi and i show them the stuff i am wearing, which i always say i got from multiple friends...which is why i make it, to give it to friends..they think its cute and send me on my way haha
