there is NO worry about the VIBE... the hulla vibe is the strongest most amazing and intense party energy i've ever come across...

seriously... i felt more energy from the hulla crowd at AGT's, than i did at ULTRA and there were about 50,000 more people at ULTRA!!!

beat that...

hulla will ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!!

it's not a numbers thing i think...

to me, i mostly only made it to the last few hullas (yup, a hulla newb).
yet even those parties (to me at least) had a way more amazing vibe than those mega syrous parties in 99 that supposedly had like as many as 13,000. (those were fun but definitely not hulla). my major regret is that i didn't make it out to many many more hullas.

that was my point exactly...

it's not about numbers... or how many people were there...

it's the sheer energy....

and thats what i was saying quite clearly in my previous post...

=)

Said it before but

We were all new once.

Hulla has never ever been about how many raves you've been to. It was my first party and always the party that myself and many others used to bring friends into the fold. This party should not and will not be any different in that sense.

Hulla was my first party ever. I was a totally newbie but it was hands down one of the best nights EVER. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I even got a picture with Frolic that night.. before I really knew that much about what Hulla really was.. I knew about the parties and how famous they were... but I could have never guessed just how important they [and the people involved] would become to me <3

The only party to ever top it was AGT and I have a good feeling this party will take the #1 spot for sure!!

The thing is that the tickets sell out so quickly that only really dedicated people and their friends usually can buy them. I'm guessing that thugs usually make decisions at the last minute. AGT was certified thug- and sketch free.

just to clarify about what I was saying... I was talking about a specific type of newb, who isn't really even a newb 'cause they don't ever get into the party... just those ppl who really don't get it.

I'm bringing at least one newbie, but this is her at a subway party, and somehow...

...I think she gets the idea

One of our really good friends is [hopefully!!!] coming up with us this time. She never got a chance to go to a Hulla cause she just wasn't in the scene yet.. but she got to hear us all talk about it non stop so she's super pumped to finally see what we've been talking about for 2 years! I'm really excited for her. She gets it and I know she'll have the best time ever!

I agree with a few previous people in that it's not about how many parties (Hulla or otherwise) you've been to. It's not about there being a bunch of newbies (we were all newbies). It's about one thing and one thing only.....
the VIBE!!!

It's impossible to describe with words but here it goes... It's the pure ethereal energy that is so thick in the air at every Hulla I've attended. It's the result of the lights and the music and the bass that rattles deep into your soul; the veterans and the newbies, friends you've partied with from the beginning and friends you haven't even met yet. A Vibe of love and caring and understanding for your fellow man that this world hasn't known for far too long; it emanates from the Opera House on these special nights and those of us fortunate enough to be a part of it carry it with us in our souls wherever we go for all eternity.

Peace. Love. Unity. Respect.

It wouldn't be Hullabaloo without newbies, simple as that.

especially with *most likely* the last every hulla event.. a few newbies would be good, introduce them to the hulla vibe!

agreed 110%, i'm trying to distinguish between hulla newbs and people who are there for their first time and totally don't get it

considering the way tickets have been selling, I doubt anyone but the people who most deserve to be there will have gotten one. except the scalpers.
