Where can I buy tickets?
Ticket outlets are listed on each Hullabaloo flyer. There are usually some local Toronto outlets, as well as being able to buy them online or by phone. You can choose to have your tickets mailed to you or you can save money by picking them up at the door (called a will-call list). You can pick up your tickets at the door anytime after the doors open. Tickets will also be available at the door as long as supplies last, usually for $10 more than the advanced ticket price.

Whats this 'out of town' rule?
THERE ARE NO TICKETS HELD AT THE DOOR FOR OUR APRIL 30th and JULY 9th Events.. This is due to the overwhelming demand and the quick sell-outs of their tickets. It's impossible for us to allow any door admisions when the event is already sold out, no matter how far you came. Please do what you can to secure your tickets in advance.

I've never been to a Hullabaloo before, can i go alone?
Sure you can! Hulla's are one of the only places that you can go to without knowing anyone and then walk away with dozens of new friends. Most Hulla partiers are very friendly and you wont see that 'meat market' atmosphere of most nightclubs. You'll be amazed how quickly you can meet new people - even just waiting in line.

Are cameras allowed?
we haven't yet stopped anyone from bringing cameras inside. Even camcorders. of course we can't be responsible for any loss or damage to your goods - so be careful!

What kind of Security do you have?
Security is provided by the venues we use. Generally you can expect to be searched at the entrance and security will be visible throughout the venue to insure everyone's safety. Illegal behaviour of any kind is not tolerated and anyone caught doing anything illegal will be ejected from the party immediately.

Will they let me bring in my medication?
Most labeled medication shouldn't be a problem, but this will be at the discretion of the security searchers.

Can i bring in my smurf toy? deoderant, etc?
Most toys and such are fine. Nothing dangerous or illegal will be allowed though.

Is there a coat check?
There is a coat check that is open year round provided by the venue. There is also a mandatory bag check for larger backpacks. You will be allowed to get at your bag throughout the night to retrieve things for no extra charge. The bag check is neccessary to clear the venue of clutter and maximize dancing room.

I want to dance on stage, why wont they let me?
While we can appreciate your enthusiasm, it's impossible to allow this to happen for 2 reasons. 1) Before long the stage is rammed with dancers and it becomes an unruly mess, and 2)it's not safe.

Security is instructed to keep the stage clear. When this is not done the stage is completely overrun by dancers, which blocks the view of the crowd from the DJ and is a very disrespectful thing to do. Always make sure the MCs have room to operate and the view of the DJ is never obstructed.

What times do the DJs play?
We'll post the DJ schedule on our site usually 24 hours ahead of the show. Schedules will also be posted around the building so you'll always know who's on when.

Why cant we go in and out?
All exits are final. This is a security risk, and all our security firms have expressed concern about handling in's and outs due to the fact that someone may walk out to get a weapon, or to consume alcohol or other substances outside the venue where they can get away with it then re-enter. So to make the night as safe as possible it has to be a strict rule.

Is there Alcohol?
Even though are events are for all ages, the venues we use will offer a 19+ drinking area for those with ID. Check the flyer for confirmation of this before each event. All alcohol sales are run by the club and we dont have anything to do with it otherwise.

Why did you stop throwing larger events?
There are a couple of reasons; First, the cost of throwing such a large scale event became prohibitively expensive. It got to the point where even with a sell-out crowd we would still lose money on the event. Without a sizable increase in ticket prices, which we felt the scene would not support, it became impossible to continue. Second, there are very few venues available that met our standards for something like this, and they all ranged from very-expensive to insanely expensive which brings us back to our first point. Choosing to work with an inferior venue was not an option as we didn't want to ruin or legacy of great events and decided it was best to continue in another fashion.

Why do you keep using the same venue? I want some variety!!
Every Hullabaloo party is a celebration of music, fashion and culture. For us, that is the most important aspect of it. Our current venue meets our needs of providing a safe legal space with low-stress management to accomplish this.

What are Resident DJs?
Resident DJs are the talent you can expect to see at just about every Hullabaloo party. They're the backbone of the event. On top of them, you'll see usually a couple of "headliners", plus the addition of a couple of featured locals.
