CuggE I second that motion.. If I wasn't working at Serenity that weekend I would have most definetly attended this party!!

I'm glad everyone got to experience the "HUG TRIBE"

I've been a part of mini hug tribes with friends at Hulla and other parties many a time before, it's wicked to see a large one was formed!

Unity comes willingly..

P.S. A massive respect goes out to the partiers who made it a night to remember for all that attended and a night to regret missing for all those who did not attend

OK, just made the site live... about 40% done though. I'll be putting up more pics and it should be pretty much all there by tonight.

Check out:

Any help with the shots I'm missing would be appreciated!

Cute pics, Digital Blue. I met your friend with the Construction Supervisor shirt on ICQ, so I recognized him. And Lisa and Tiffany and I met in the bathroom and got some pictures. Do you have their contact info, by any chance? They were soooo nice--my best friend and I gave Tiffany her first "stranger" bracelet I'll let you know when I post my pics! Hope to meet up with you kids again in Toronto! *hugs*

I am dissapointed that I was not at GROUP HUG. It truly seems to have been 100% positive and life changing. The way it has been described is the sort of party I have always dreamed being a part of. I haven't been to a Hulla since November '99. After reading this thread I will be finding my way to the next one. Thanks for renewing my hopes that it is possible to have a fun night that is free of negativity (i.e. polotics, unfriendly rude people, unapproachable people, prejudice based on age/race/clothing/music preference/years in the scene). Although I know that the magic that I missed out on will never truly be re-created, I hope that those who were there remember how good it can be, and spread the spirit of that night to future parties. I look forward to partying with all of you ***friendly*** party folk out there.

Trevor -- those are such cute pics! I remember seeing you and your friends, but I don't think we were properly introduced. I did meet Lisa and Tiffany in the bathroom, such cute girls! tell them hi from me, I gave Tiffany her first bracelet from a stranger with Lace (see her previous post)!
anyhow, I'm the katie in the group hug pic with anabolic frolic thats up there! I just have to say it again, I LOVED THIS PARTY!!! you can see it in our eyes in that picture, they're all red from crying.. I was just so happy.. I hope this thread never ends, it should be archived.. it gives me warm fuzzies by reading it.

I hope more people have pics!

Just wow.

Much love Chris. We are here for you and always will be. Sorry I couldn't be there to do this in person but

This is a story about for upstae new yorkers who were lookin 4 the
phattest party of all time and found it in Toronto. After we made it to
Titan to hear Frolic spin we decided that we had waited long enough and
needed to make the trek up to Toronto. JUST OUR LUCK! hullabaloo was
being held the following weekend so arrangements began. We gathered our
bills and gassed up our car and prepared to party like never b4. Much to
our dismay however Hulla got cancelled @ the last minute. WHAT THE FUCK.
We wigged. (refer to my unkind message below) IN seeing my message on
this guestbook and being the incredibly nice guy that he is. Chris
himself sent me a personal email informing me of group hug. A small
intimate replacement for hullabaloo , being thrown 2 raise money for the
already flown in djs and 2 let the cops know that they cant stop the
shining. Two days later we were there. Upon our arrival we were amazed
at the friendliness and good vibes of all the canadian ravers. U GUYS
KICKED ASS. After waiting in line for a little 2 long we made it inside
the pahtay. The beats were explosive and the vibe was overwhelmingly
positive. Being surrounded by such hardcore positive people was just
what we were lookin 4 and more. We had massive ammounts of fun from
shakin our jig on the dancefloor to slippin and slidin on the wet floors
downstairs. The highlight of the night however was when Frolic got on
the mike. he went on to say how great we all were and that hullabaloo
was far from over. When Frolic announced that he had organized Group Hug
knowing that he was recieving nothing in return i proudly proclaimed
THATS WHY WE LOVE U BABY. the crowd went nuts. WE DO LOVE U CHRIS. I
must say though that the highlight of my night was when Chris came down
on the floor to dish out ridiculous amounts of love. It was beautiful.
My friend Johnna claims she saw a couple of girls crying. I immediately
went up 2 chris and gave him a huge hug and my FUrbY. I then thanked him
kindly for emailing me the party info and asked if he remebered me.He
thought for a minute and said. Yea Are u Mr.Fuckin S. I nearly fainted .
After this I got my picture taken with him and awaited the parts end. We
then reluctantlu made the voyage back to our car and home to Rochester
Ny. PROPS 2 Toronto PROPS to Frolic PROPS to the Opera House Props to
all the cute people who posed for our pictures. PROPS to Jamie and the
bomb ass cc's. PROPS 2 all!!! WE'll be seeing u guys again
P.S. Frolic keep that furby close 2 u always and if u were 2 write me 1
more letter it would make my Fuckin decade.
