how do they do the searches at wemf what does it consist of and how thorough is it?

The last 3 WEMF's that I've been to, the searches were very basic. A quick search through all your bags and camping gear, then the usual pat down. Remember that they are searching 1000's of peoples camping gear and what not, so it can't be too indepth.

The two times I went through security on Saturday were like night and day (nothing to do with the fact they were during night and day, respectively). The first time the guy was pretty thorough--even asking to see ID for my prescription medication. The second time, the guy was quite chatty and didn't even notice my prescription medication.

I guess it comes down to how many people there are in line, how sketchy you look, and how bad a day they're having.

Yeah, I wandered in there with an unlabled bottle of asprin. All I did was write "Asprin 325mg" on the side in permanent marker and he let it go.
