Friday parties rock

Personally I'd prefer to see more Friday parties. I'm an out of towner and for the Anthems party i had to wait for my friend to finish work at 10pm but we still made it there. I love the extra day to relax before work that friday parties offer. I also love being able to party on the weekend and still have time to do other stuff other than sleep all the next day and loose the rest of the weekend. Id say go with friday parties. I think there will still be decent attendance.

I love friday parties too, but I also love having more time to make the five hour trip particularly when school is in session. I would probably attend a friday party regardless, but still.

Thumbs up A FOR EFFORT!!!!!

I am not going to make comments specifically to anyone about the...junk that is being posted here. I dont understand why people can't just appreciate the fact that Chris is throwing us amazing parties, providing experiences that...have yet to be rivalled, in my opinion. I understand that everyone's opinion was asked for (although there was a request for no more complaints about the venue, as well...) , and it is good that everyone is speaking up and wants to be heard. But WHY must there always be people who feel the need to complain about events that arent tailored specifically to their own personal tastes?

Frolic I want to say thank you, and your efforts are greatly appreciated, despite what some would have you think.

And I am TOTALLY HYPED FOR SEPTEMBER 28th!!!!!!
the goodfellaz party AND a hulla both in the same month??? YAH! GOING!!!
this...is going...to be SO MUCH FUN!!!
*whitby few repraZENT!!!*

First: The actual question Frolic was considerate to ask our opinions of...

I believe that a Friday in October would provide a decent enough turn out. However, with the advent of the September date, maybe not so much. That party being right near the end of the month might not give people enough time to get quite as hyped about hulla parties as usual so attendance may be a bit more limited.

Aside from that, I like having the extra day to chill and recoop after a party.

Second: Time to reply...

shuko : Storm and Herman were here for ATM "One Family". Storm was barely okay and both had decent track selection but Herman was THE most boring person I have ever seen spin. If it were to be Storm and Herman I would NOT go. And I agree with Frolic, you don't like it... DIY.

SCOOT : I hope you're kidding. It's fairly clear that Frolic had little choice in matter of throwing single room parties. Also, hulla was created to bring happy hardcore to the scene. As it grew the second room was added and thus, more styles of music. Frolic has been forced to throw single room parties so, as he IS the promoter, he has chosen to feature HIS music tastes. Once again, you don't like it DIY. But mark my words, you'll never do half as good a job.

To sum up, hulla IS happy hardcore, therefore has remained true to itself. Twit.

mrmagoo : Take a look at the very first post, that's the one posted by the author of the thread. Frolic specifically asked for no complaints about the Opera House. It's all been heard before. If you don't like it (this is getting repetitive) D-I-Y!!! You certainly live up to your title magoo one.

Anyhow, Paulina Taylor and Brisk (and Frolic for that matter) cannot be missed at Goodfellaz. Not sure if another partie 2 weeks after is plausible, but I'll try depending on the headliner.

Frolic, thanks for asking, you know people will do what they can to support.

I'm going to close this thread since it's run it's course and since we've already made plans for a Saturday party it's become outdated. Thanks everyone for your feedback and support. See everyone Saturday Sept 28th!
