I hope you're right. I just am not quite as optimistic as you, seeing as how the US hasn't been very successful in their follow-through in these situations. But I don't think there is anyone out there who doesn't HOPE that this will bring peace, I just don't think there are too many people right now who see that as being very realistic.

Not a fucking chance. There has never been peace in the middle east for as long as we've been keeping track of that shit. Overthrowing one man's regime is in no way going to eliminate centuries of unrest. They fight each other because they hate each other, and that doesn't change overnight.
It's great that you're all optimistic and stuff, but I really wouldn't count on it.

Well, i never said one war would solve all the problems. The last presidency, Clinton, did absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!! Bush maybe a Texas Turkey, but at least hes doing something about it.
