2+2, I think youre stuck in the past just little bit. I too dislike the trancy bent hardcore is taking, but there's still stuff out there, you just have to look harder I guess.

Are you framiliar with "So Light" by Mark Sheppard? Its not cheese but its a great sing along track. Its underplayed, like alot of good tracks, look it up if you can I think you'll like it. Its just one example of good stuff being obscure.

i think that a happy hardcore "muchmusic" kind of countdown would only have more recent trancey and uplifting happy hardcore... thats sooo not how i felt about the track selections of the sets at funtopia 7... it was so full of oldschool and new stuff as well... and even if i wont be there, im sure Dougal's set is gonna be a unique experience... just looking at his productions makes me wish that "Fast Forward" with Brisk here in Montreal wasn't the same night as Drift on a Dream... i would so have came back at hulla right-away...

Dougal is amazing man.. he played my first Hulla (Get Hype). That is a night I will never forget. And now.. before EVERY single party that i go to.. I listen to the DJ Dougal - Get Hype cd. It's soooo good and you can really feel the hulla spirit through it.

Dougal is amazing.. do NOT miss if you have the choice.
