Bringing In Candy
Will i be able to bring candy into hulla? And i mean actual like eating candy not bracelets and stuff. I bought these yo yo's that are filled with little candies and some rollerblade looking things that are also filled with little candies and i wanna know if they're not open if i can bring them in. In the past i've been able to bring in suckers and stuff but i dno about this.

vitamins...prolly not
unopened bags of candy (i.e. suckers, gum, etc) are never a problem

I really wish they would let me bring in my painkillers for my migraines. It's so bad when I get really bad migraines in a party, and I'm not even able to take anything for it.
Is there any way to get around that? PLUR, Chip

I'd call the Opera House (phone # 416-466-0313) and let them know you're coming to the party this weekend and your issues with getting your meds in. I'd think you'd have the best chance of getting them in with some prior clearance.

My only other choice was to say, "Alright... fuck the security." And find a way to sneak them in. It'd give me good laughs, too... smuggling non-perscription painkillers through the door of a rave. Ha ha ha... I wonder if they'd kick me out if they found them on me when they searched!! PLUR, Chip |

^^^emma (the brit at the UK party) had no problem bringing in her diabetes testing stuffs...as long as it's sealed or they can check what you have it shouldn't be too big of a deal...granted diabetes stuffs don't look like illicit substances most the time, but you know what i mean

Yeah, but my stuff's non-perscription, because I don't take the percription stuff unless I have to. It makes me really wonky. The only other stuff I have that works, that's non-perscription is American Excedrin. It's so funny, because they label their pills with a big upper case "E" on them. I think I have like... no-name brand stuff that's like AMerican Excedrin now, though.
If they won't let me bring it through, is there any way to get them to hold it at the door for me, so I can atleast have it when I leave the party? PLUR, Chip |
