I was searching through Google, and found this forum. 5 pin bowling is only bowled in canada. Each pin is worth a different amount of points. The middle pin(head pin) is worth 5 points, the two pins on each side of the middle pin is worth 3 points, and the 2 outer pins are worth 2 points apiece, for a total of 15 points. So using the sams scoring methods as in 10 pin, a perfect game works out to a 450. However, this score is rare, and is definately challenging. I have bowled 5 pin for 18 years now in the toronto area, and if anyone else has questions, please feel free.

To also add to my post, I encourage many of you to try 5 pin sometime if you ever get the chance. I can challenge anyone to be successful at it. It would be nice to get another sports rivalry going with a brand new sport. Maybe I should open a 5 pin centre in the states? lol .

i am also a 5pinner from canada. I would recomend if your looking for a challange in the world of bowling to play this game, its not easy at all. I only played 10pin fine times because i worked at a bowling centre that had both 5 pin and 10pin. i would ave around 200 ish and was like no big deal.

was always a dream to own a bowling center. But i always wanted to live in the states. Would 5 pin work there?
