Get a load of this!

I'm on the road a few hours ago out to grab my paycheck. Disc 1 of Frolic's set is playing on the car stereo. At a stoplight on Rt. 20 in Guilderland, NY, I started a 4-light long back and forth between these 3 random guys, check it:

RG=Random Guy

Stoplight 1:

RG:Is that a station or a CD?
Me:I WISH it was a station
RG:What kind of music is that anyways?
Me:Happy hardcore
RG:We should start a station
Me: (as light is changing) Great idea!
(light changes, we both continue driving after a mutual thumbs up/wave)

Stoplight 2:

RG:We need DJ names
Me:Hmmmm - yeah, hey, if you want to pick up some of this, [insert pimping of www.hulla.info here] for details!
(light changes again, we continue)

Stoplight 3:

Me:Funny we keep meeting like this
RG: Yeah, wooooooooooooooooooooooo!
(light changes again, we continue)

Stoplight 4:

RG:So what are we gonna call this station?
Me:HappyHardcore 101?
RG:Yeah, I like it, and our dj names.....yeah, I'm DJ Smellyfish!
Me:And I'm DJ Fox, on Hardcore 101!
RG:Yeah, WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The next light up I was going straight and they turned left, but I still got all 3 of them waving/thumbs up out the car doors...Talk about awesome, eh?

That's Awesome....

I had something similar happen... but it prolly doesn't rank as cool....But

I was with some friends driving out to Cass Benton to play a round of Disc Golf... We're listening to Luna-C Supaset part 1... just cranked!! (everyone was wearing a little kandi too... )

This mini-van cruises up next to us, and the people in the van look over at us...

We smile and wave.... then continue groovin'... They smile, wave back, and it looked like they kinda chuckled about it... As they were exiting the freeway, they waved to us again.

(It was cool, trust me!)

my favorite is when i am downtown in ann arbor... and u end up next to a soccer mom with kids in the back... and the kids start bopping to the music... and the mom looks over and rolls up ALL the windows and rolls the van forward a little.. just to get as far away from the "trashy rave music" as possible

LoL.. I've had this happen before.

What makes no sense to me is, that when it happens, I'm usually listening to the CHESSIEST stuff imaginable. It's like people have a problem with being happy or something.. :\

haha so it was a lot funnier for me, since i was there to witness it, but here's my story

last night my mom came over to my apartment to help me pack (i'm moving to toronto! woooo!)

now, my mom's very "mom"-like. she's also republican and christian and very suburban, doesn't even drink, i was a terribly sheltered child, and she HATES that i go to raves.. i get a mini lecture every time i leave despite the fact that i've explained over and over about how it's just fun music to dance to.

anyway, we were packing up my stuff, and to get myself going i put on the nice guys - dubble U tee eff

instead of saying something about all the rap and the swearing, she starts DANCING TO THE MUSIC! ahhhh! she even sang along at one point!

i just stared at her.. it was the greatest most hilarious thing i've ever seen

i didn't say 'i told you so'... but i REALLY wanted to
