Trance at the next Hulla

What about 2 trance DJs at the next Hulla or maybe even someone new who's never played, thats a bit bigger then the usual? I know how money is, anyone have any opinions on trance DJs, post here! No PVDs or Tiesto type DJs of course :P (even though I wish, hehe)

-System F/Ferry Corsten- Last time I checked, he actually has reasonable prices, if he is around at that time.
-Someone from The Ministry Of Sound?
-Tall Paul, Judge Jules
-Mauro Picotto, does spin Techno but you can get him to do trance.

And not really trance, but anyone ever heard of The Rave Method? They sound Hullaish, would be cool to see them there.

lol... those dj's you listed would be waaaaaaaaaaay out of price range for a hulla. hulla these days is a hhc headliner, and then locals. i wouldn't mind hearing os/2 at a hulla, not sure if it'd ever happen - but would be nice!

There usually are 2 trance DJ's at a hulla party... but since I wasn't that the july hulla.. i dunno if there were 2... the one in april had 2 trance dj's... elixir and subsonic chronic... hulla's will prolly never have international trance dj's... just locals... elixir is a resident hulla dj... so he'll always be there...

If it's an international trance/techno dj you're looking for... you'd have better luck finding them at, say... like a Nightmare party... or some club nights at some club.

Picotto is hella (not hulla) expensive.

The problem I think with most trance out of townwers is most of them have way more noteriety outside of Canada. For example for the longest time I wanted to introduce Gary D to Canada, but since he's huge in Europe he's basically a little cheaper then a the biggest names out there.

So why introduce someone when he will barely draw a crowd, when for a tiny bit more you can get Tiesto.

But I'll play some Tiesto and Corstein or Gary D for ya
Cheers
Nick

Being frm Pittsburgh, where the only scene we have is Trance, I've grown sick of it, and don't like it much. I think it'd ruin the vibe.

The only trance DJs you'll probably ever see at a Hulla would be locals... more than likely it'll be one of the two regulars, Subsonic Chronic or Elixir... the only other trance DJ I ever remember being at Hulla was Chiclet.

I think it should just stay HHC Since it is "North America's biggest HHC partys" Alot of the DJs just play the same hardcore tunes over and over like "Ordinary people" and "field of dreams" replace some of the overplayed songs with some of the newer songs or some older tunes like "Sunshine after the rain" or "Wonderful days".

Sticking to 100% HHC is boring... you need a change of tempo/pace or else people will start getting tired of the HHC after 3-4 hours... that's why there's Hardcore from 9-12.. then depending on who's in the lineup.. a trance or jungle set from 12-1.. then the Headliner from 1-2.. then Frolic from 2-3.. then some other hardcore DJ till 4.. then trance from 4-5.. and finish it of with Hardcore from 5-6...

Acid Trance is pretty tempoed up. ummm...most ppl now call Happy Hardcore "Hardcore" cause that was the name of it in 1996-1997 in the Uk. Now Makina!! That would be awsome! And some Japanese HHC mixxed in too! Get Some Makina!!!! Makina!!! Makina!!! Especially the BCN style with all the high pitch scrapes and noises!!

if you come to hullabaloo for the trance your not doin something right. go to a trance party if you wanna hear trance. don't come on the hullaboard and complain that there isn't enought trance at a hardcore party. i think we need more hardcore sets and more gabber sets.

p.s. when ever i'm at a hulla and trance comes on it feels like its time to take a nap.

i'd love to drop a Uk Hard House or Nu NRG set at a Hulla that would definitely make you not want to sleep

i'd love to play...but then again who wouldn't

Please no UK Hard House. Lisa Lashes & Fergie gave me more than my share when I lived in England.
