Has everyone gone crazy where you are?
Has anyone else noticed has crazy things have gotten? (i only speak for the States, specially Florida)
What is this new crazy with christianity? Now there is nothing wrong with believing in Jesus and following the Christian religion, but anyone who forces there own narrowminded view of the bible on others is just as low as white suppresasists! (I didnt make that up, the credit goes to Jello Biafra) My question is, for others in the states, is it crazy everywhere? Becuase its getting really bad in Florida. You cant walk out of the house without someone shoving it down your throat. Some guy waited for me in the parking lot and asked me why i had some "bad sticker" on my car. He told me he wanted to talk to me about Jesus. It was creepy! So is it like this everywhere in the states? On another note, for the last hulla, i spent a week in toronto and the atmosphere was so relaxed compared to how tense things are here, that ive started looking into schools up there and plan to move there next fall. How do other people feel about this? |

It is like that in parts of NY also, though i haven't seen it here in CA yet. It is rediculous though, and can be creepy at times also. I was also up in TO for five days for the last hulla and it was great there, i would love to go to school there good luck with your plans.

Yeah I haven't gotten that at all here in CA...I was stopped on the street a few times by different kids trying to peddle their Dali Lama (sp?) books to me, which I would much rather have than someone trying to force the bible on me...Yesterday we had Jehovah's Witnesses come to our door, but they're friendly, and as soon as they pull out the "Watchtower" booklet, and you tell them you're not interested, they move on
 sucks that you have to deal with that...I'd start bringing around a voodoo doll with me and start yelling in tongues as soon as they come at me if i were you

I know its been like that for a while, but it seems like lately its been really bad. Maybe its just where i live. Thats why i was cuious to see what others were experiancing

Everybody is out of order. Scared of losing their jobs.
Shopkeepers keep a gun under their counter. Nobody anywhere seems to know what to do and there is no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe our food is unfit to eat. We sit watching our tvs while some local newscaster tells us today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes and thats the way things are supposed to be. We know things are bad, worse than bad. They're crazy. Its like everything everywhere is going crazy so we don't go out anymore. We sit in our house and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller. And all we say is please leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my tv and my radio just leave me alone. Well I'm not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad. I don't want you to protest, I don't want you to riot I don't want you to write to your congressman I wouldn't know what to write about the depression or the inflation, or the Russians or the crime in the street. All I know is that FIRST YOU'VE GOT TO GET MAD. I want you to go to your window and yell I'M A HUMAN BEING GOD DAMMNIT. MY LIFE HAS MEANING!!! I'd say the USA is crazy. Get out while you can. Its a police state. I'm terrified of it. Canada may not be the most free country but its not that bad.
